A Look at Green Heating Methods for Your Home

Many people want to be able to use environmentally friendly methods to heat their home but are not sure which technologies fall into this category or how to choose the method that is right for them. Here is a look at exactly what a "green heating method" is, as well as some of the more common methods that may fall into this category.

What makes certain heating methods environmentally friendly?

There are several reasons why a particular heating method may be considered to be environmentally friendly. It may use energy to heat a home very efficiently. It may also use fuel that does not release more carbon into the air than was absorbed while the fuel was being produced. A good example of this is wood. As a tree grows, it absorbs carbon from the air. It will only release an amount of carbon that is equal to that absorbed by a tree while it was growing. Fossil fuels, on the other hand, do not absorb carbon while they are being produced and will emit large amounts of carbon when being burned as heating fuel.

Some green methods of heating your home can include:

Passive and Active Solar Heating systems

Solar energy is a viable way to heat your home even if you do not live in an area that receives massive amounts of sunlight each day. Passive solar homes are usually positioned in such a way that they take maximum advantage of natural sunlight. They are fitted with large, energy efficient windows that are capable of holding heat in. Active solar heat will use solar panels to heat water that is then circulated through a boiler or through radiant heating systems.

Pellet Stoves and Boilers

There are stoves and boilers on the market that use wood pellets as a biomass fuel source. The fuel is carbon neutral, and is inexpensive, renewable and readily available. Boilers heat water that will then run through radiators or through a radiant heating system. Pellet stoves can heat a room directly or through a series of ducts like a traditional forced-air furnace.

Geothermal heating systems

These use the residual heat that is found in the earth to heat a home. Fluid is exposed to the heat that is naturally present in the earth and then pumped back into a home to heat it. Heat can also be obtained from water as well. These systems use a heat exchanger to transfer the heat into a home and fans to move the heat throughout the home.

Speaking with a qualified professional about your own heating needs may be the best way to find the right method for you.

Forex Signals Reviews - CopyPastePips.com

We haven't tried the automatic forex signals from CopyPastePips.com. If you've used this in your forex trading, please leave a review here.
I took the 7 days trial which has been an absolute disaster:

After three emails in four days to Customer service I still had not got a reply:

To CopyPastePips
I am really disappointed with CopyPastePips for the following reasons:
I have downloaded and opened the .zip-file, attached the EA, the .dll files and the Clickbank transaction code to my demo IBFX MT4 terminal.

Your short 4-page manual does not provide information on:
1. What should I do now?
2. How do I know if my EA is working (so far nothing has happened)?
3. Should I see arrows indicating previous buy/sells?
4. How can I open and see what your master buy/sells look like?
5. Will buy/sells happen automatically or should I initiate them manually?
6. Can I choose between aggressive or more conservative transactions?

Why do you put in so much effort into marketing and so little or nothing for the actual buyer of your system?

Regards,
xxxx xxxx

Furthermore:
7. The instructions about installing the EA are incorrect:
Quote: "Example: If your system drive is C and you are using MetaTrader Alpari terminal, you need to copy ex4 file to the following folder: C/Program Files/MetaTrader Alpari/experts/indicators."?!!!
8. It is confusing that their emails come from Duet Internet Projects and suddenly there is another URL for their home base: http://copypastepips.kayako.com
9. I was glad to find two help buttons on their website: Knowledgebase and Troubleshooter. Unfortunately they did not help: "No information available in this view"
(NB Knowledgebase appeared first time after several days but Troubleshooter remained empty.)
10. It took them four days to send me a password.

Did I extend the subscription after the trial? -- NO!

About CopyPastePips:
Do they know how to trade forex --I have no idea
Do they know how to run a business? -- NO!
Can they support their EA buyers" -- NO!

bought it some time ago, up sells are c*** to say the least - no instructions on how to use them with that licensing tool - and an indicator and a template with a set of indicators that need a licence number every time it is uses on a new opened chart - thats BS.

the basic version cannot coexist with the up-sell version thats called NO LOSS - which is ridiculous - so far 2 trades on a VPS - one was at about 50 pips plus (80%+ till TP) and it retraced - had to close it manually - otherwise mega loss till SL. Second one was stopped out by sl settings. one tarde won me 100 bucks manual close otherwise about 1500 loss - the other one cost me 850 bucks.

One thing i know for sure the trades are not monitored and/or managed by the vendor - so one gets only pending orders with no further service - C*** or even a con/scam scheme.

basic plus NO LOSS service is about 120 Euro +20% VAT per month -after 14 days i lost 750 bucks +120+20% Euro - if i extrapolate i might get nightmares ...

===> http://www.forexautotools.com

don't waste your money or even your time on that con artists ..

So far copypastepips is on version 3.2, with 2 updates since launched.

I have it running on a VPS and am getting trades coming through, as well as automated/managed cancellations. It runs the updates in an automated manner, very easy on that level.

Installation was straightforward.

I don't think that this is a scam, and have had one positive trade, and three running currently, with unrealised P/L.

So if these current trades come through positive then I think it will be doing its job.

Looking a bit dodgy to me. There is no proper documentation or instructions, and no help forthcoming when I write. No signals either and no indication of whether the service is actally working. Some signs though that a server connection was failing.

Worth taking the risk as its clickbank, who if handled right will always get you a refund.

I bought the EA, and have been disappointed, as follows:
There are three upsells, always a bad sign. I bought one.

Immediately after signing up, while reviewing the ad, I discovered an offer to pay $47.00 (and $47 monthly), rather than The $67.00 I had just paid. I put in a support ticket to ask for the lower price. After 48 hours I get a response telling me how to cancel my subscription. No offer of the lower price.

The email I received for the upsell program lacked a link to download it. A support ticket took 48 hours to get the link.

The program will not run without either crashing, or being "unable to authenticate". A support ticket took 72 hours, and the reply suggested did not resolve the program. I sent a followup ticket, No response yet. and I am still unable to get the program to work.

The website Knowledge Base is empty. The Troubleshooter file is empty as well.

This program is clearly not ready for prime time. ===> http://www.forexlivebrokers.com

Managed Forex Reviews - IkCapital.com

We haven't tried the managed forex accounts from IkCapital.com. If you've let them trade forex for you, please leave a review here.
IK Capital Inc run by a british man called Taran Basil who reckons he has achieved 100% return in a month!! His accomplices are Nirmal Singh and Mohammed Aslam. These two sent me data showing returns of 15 - 25% month on month. I put in $50k and within one month Taran had 40% drawdown. After a few more months there was 100% drawdown with only 20% profit. Suddenly Nirmal and M.Aslam never picked up their phones - Taran was extremely unprofessional, making up excuse after excuse and even telling me that i can have a bash at it if i liked to try and make the money up myself!!! Even though I'm not a trader, at the end, it resorted to me telling them when to come out of what trade!!! They bugged me for 3 years to put my money into this and when i eventually did, they lost it and just didnt want to know. M.Aslam initially telling me that he invested all the time and made 20k per month, and then after my lossses told me he'd never invested in fx and didnt know much about it!! He then told me he'd pay for my losses - when I phoned him up months later for it, he once again didn't want to know. Stay away from these jokers - they are unlicensed, unprofessional, lieing thiefs. If anyone has advise on if I can claim this money back, do let me know as I'm checking what can be done - they are not licensed or FSA regulated, so shouldn't be giving out all this investment advice.

Forex Software Reviews - Forex-Megabot.com

We haven't tried the forex trading robot from Forex-Megabot.com. If you've let this EA trade forex for you, please leave a review here.

UPDATE: The FPA has begun a forward test of this EA on a REAL account. Please click the link towards the upper-left to follow the results.

Just adding on to my previous review. This one is a winner. I have not hit a stop loss yet. It is a steady performer. I use this as part of a basket of EA's.

You do need a good broker though with a tight spread.

2010-10-16 5star I have had this EA for about a month and it performs pretty much as advertised. it only makes about 4-5 trades per month, but each one has been profitable. Stop losses are not as big as most scalpers, so your risk is not as great--it won';t wipe out all your earnings with one or 2 bad trades. I use Collective FX as my broker--I would recommend using this with an ECN broker with tight spreads during the Asians ession for best results.. Since it doesn't trade often, you can use this with other profitable EA's. Considering it's price, customer service and performance, I am giving it 5 stars.
